I learn different from others. For example at my job, in learning the transit routes, I WROTE down the directions verses everyone learning with their mind. I’m not ashamed because everyone is unique
What I'm slowly learning is that there are some things where people are better than me. Learning to accept this and graciously asking for their assistance can be game changing.
I thought a product flyer I was working on was good, and it was. But my designer friend spent a few minutes making some tweaks and now it's great. I have skills that I'm better at that I can offer her, or anyone else (this isn't quid pro quo).
